ALUFLEX attenuators
are also based on Aero ALUFLEX ducts. The inner duct is mechanically perforated in the area of the insulation section. The non combustible insulating layer is coated with abrasion-proof glass fibre and available in thickness of 25, 50, 75 and 100 mm. Page 8 of the brochure lists the values of sound dissipation (insertion loss) in correlation to insulation thickness. End caps made from galvanised sheet steel ensure easy duct installation. The bending radius is according to the nominal width the 2 to 2,5-fold of the diameter of the external duct. The Aero ALUFLEX attenuators can also be installed in bent shape.
Cross-talk sound attenuator
are also available in two additional versions:
1. External duct made of galvanised sheet steel, perforated inner duct made of two-ply aluminium strip, insulation layer the same as the Aero ALUFLEX attenuator
2. External duct and perforated internal duct made of galvanised sheet steel, insulation layer the same as the Aero ALUFLEX attenuator
